Rooted is a 10 week group experience to help you make new friends and grow in your spiritual walk. Through Rooted, you will connect with God, with others, and with your mission. You will learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, built on foundational elements such as worship, generosity, service, evangelism, prayer and studying God’s word. If you’re newer to Greenford and looking for a community of people to connect with, Rooted is a great place to start.
Imagine yourself in a group of people who care for you, listen to you and support you. This is the Rooted experience.
Rooted is a catalyst for life change where discussion is held in a group environment, creating a safe space for Biblical exploration and practical learning experiences. The Rooted curriculum is designed to help participants learn Biblical principles, improve prayer life, serve others and understand their purpose here on earth. All of this is done with a group of people that quickly become friends over the 10-week time period.
How do I know if Rooted is right for me?
Through Rooted you will begin to see God in new ways and begin to understand His plan for your life. Whether you have been a Christian for a long time or are new to faith in Christ, Rooted has the potential to have a bigger impact on your spiritual growth than anything else you do this year.
We strongly recommend you check your schedule to make sure you can commit to at least 8, if not all, of the 10 weekly Rooted sessions. They will be held every week and a celebration dinner will take place after the final Rooted session.
Investment is $30 per individual/$50 per couple. The fee covers the cost of your curriculum, supporting materials and the celebration dinner. Space is limited. If you are interested in participating, but the registration fee is a burden contact Keith Parker.
Fruitful is a follow-up to Rooted. If you haven’t participated in a Rooted group yet, we’d encourage you to start there.
Have you ever felt like living out your faith at your workplace, your gym, with your friends, and even in your own family is a daunting task? But living on mission doesn’t have to be unnatural. Fruitful is an 8-week group experience designed to help you build friendships, take next steps in your faith, and learn how every single moment can be an opportunity to live out your love for Jesus.
Gospel Centered Communities
Gospel-Centered Communities are groups of people who meet together regularly in community, encourage and challenge one another, and live out their faith in their contexts. Quite simply, a Gospel Centered Community is a group of multipliers – disciples who make disciples.

Each week, serving teams play a crucial part in making our church function. From greeters to door holders to camera operators to student ministry volunteers, serving teams are communities of people doing life together and serving the Kingdom together. If you’re looking for a way to use your talents and connect with others, maybe serving teams are for you!

Throughout the year, we offer courses and studies that can help you grow in your knowledge of God and His Word and also help you find a community with which to belong. Studies range from biblical finances to expository studies of Bible books.
Contact Keith Parker for updates on upcoming studies.
Huddles Small Groups
In a small group setting, Huddles participants learn about six big ideas from scripture that move us into a deeper relationship with God. Huddles are small, committed groups of 4-8 people of the same gender designed to encourage you in your walk with God and open your life more deeply to others around you. Huddles meet together regularly for over 9 months and dig deep into a number of shapes that can help us better understand what God is saying to us and what we should do about it.
