What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, truthful, and authoritative Word of God. It is our foundation for understanding God, growing in faith, and guiding how we live.

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally as three distinct but equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, working together in perfect unity.

God the Father

We believe God is the eternal Father, Creator of all things, and the source of life. He loves, provides for, and guides His children, inviting us into a personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended into heaven. He continues to intercede for us and will one day return.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives within believers, guiding, teaching, strengthening, and transforming us to become more like Jesus. He equips us with spiritual gifts to serve God and others.

Sin

We believe that people are created for a relationship with God, but humanity has been separated from Him through sin. Sin is rebellion towards God through action or attitude. Because of our sin, it is not possible for us to restore unity and relationship with God on our own.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned through good works or religious practices. Through Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, we receive forgiveness, new life, and the promise of eternity with God.

Human Identity

We believe every person is created in God’s image, with equal dignity, worth, and purpose. God created humanity as male and female.

Marriage

We believe God created humanity as male and female and established marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation for family and sexual intimacy.

Baptism

We practice baptism by immersion for those who personally believe in Jesus. We believe baptism is a covenantal step and represents our identification with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection through repentance and confession.

Communion (Lord’s Supper)

We invite followers of Christ to participate weekly in the symbolic representation of His death, burial and resurrection, through bread and cup. We believe communion is a covenantal remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, united in faith and called to worship, grow, serve, and share God’s love. Jesus is the head of the Church.  We believe that the Church is God’s revealing of His character and mission to the world.

Eternity

We believe Jesus will return, the dead will be raised, and every person will face eternity. Those who belong to Christ will experience eternal life with God, while those who reject Him will be eternally separated from God.
