New Lead Minister Update

Hello Church Family!  We have some truly exciting news to celebrate together this morning!

After a seemingly very long season of prayer, fasting, and discernment, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that Sheldon DeVries—someone many of you know, love, and have served alongside—is stepping into the role of Lead Minister here at Greenford Christian Church.

Sheldon has been faithfully serving our church in his current role as our Boardman pastor, and over the past few years, we’ve seen his deep love for Jesus, passion for people, and commitment to this community shine through. It is clear to us that God has prepared him for such a time as this.

This is a moment to celebrate—not just a new title for Sheldon, but a new chapter in the life of our church, led by someone who knows us, loves us, and is ready to help us follow where God is leading.

We’ll be honoring and officially commissioning Sheldon as Lead Minister on Sunday, July 27th during services at the Greenford campus.  We hope to record and be able to show this commissioning at the other campuses and on-line so all can share in this.

Let’s continue to pray for Sheldon, his family, for our church, and for the exciting road ahead. God is doing something beautiful right here—and this is just the beginning!
