IDES Hurricane Relief

IDES Hurricane Relief (in partnership with Greenford Christian Church)

Greenford is partnering with International Disaster Emergency Services (IDES), a mission organization affiliated with Christian Churches and Churches of Christ, to provide aid to those in need. IDES is actively working to bring food, clean water, shelter, and other critical supplies to areas devastated by these natural disasters. 100% of your donation will help with their Hurricane Response. If you wish to write a check, they can be made out to IDES with Hurricane Response in the memo line and sent to IDES 355 Park 32 West Drive Noblesville, IN 46062. A donation can also be made online by visiting IDES.org.

There have been members from GCC that have already travelled to, and assisted in the Carolinas with another great organization immediately after the hurricane ravished their area. If you would like to volunteer your time; there are currently ongoing relief efforts through IDES, based in Live Oak, FL, and Elizabethtown, TN. The base for these operations is Live Oak Christian Church, in FL, and First Christian Church, in Elizabethtown, TN. Volunteer efforts in TN began Monday, October 7th. Volunteers are needed to help with the initial cleanup, tarping roofs, and responding to other emergency needs.
